Module functions
The module allows to access full information displayed by the display when there is no stock radio/EHU unit installed. Normally when no radio is installed, only Opel startup logo is shown and nothing more. This module acivates the display and gives an access to all of this functions.
It allows also to control the display by using two BC buttons used by MID display. It allows also to close the errors messages (like lights failure).
Additionally it allows you to connect the reverse camera to the display (additional video signal converter is required - it is not a part of this module).

Module installation
The uses 8 wires to connect to the car which must be correctly connected. Most of the signals can be found in the display connector (32 pins) and in BC knob connector (3 pins). There is no exact manual for each car because it may differ depending on car model. If you need any help with connecting - let me know (contact me).
- +12V/IGN
- module power (+12V). The best option is to cennect this signal to ignition or to accessory signal (key position I).
- of course module will work fine when connected to direct +12V from the battery but it will consume unnecessary power when not used.
- power usage is really low but is is not requried.
- GND
- module/battery ground
- CAN_H
- communication between the module and the display - CAN+
- CAN_L
- communication between the module and the display - CAN-
- GND
- module/battery ground - used by two control buttons (key1 & key2) - same signal for both keys. It is the same GND as the previously explained GND (connected internally in the module)
- KEY_1
- signal from the first key. Both keys are activated by shorting to the ground (GND)
- KEY_2
- signal from the second key
- CAM
- reverse camera enable signal. Reverse camera screen will be visible as long as +12V is applied to this pin.
- When +12V voltage dissapears - camera view will be hidden.
- The best option is to connect this pin to reverse light bulb voltage.
